In the morning of 9th September, Tug-of-War Competition of Company and Institution Group in Sixth Sports Competition of Pudong was held in Pudong Yuanshen Stadium. After 42 rounds of preliminaries and 20 rounds of top 16 competitions, Shanghai Desano Chemical Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd won the third place in the end. This competition is hosted by Pudong New District Government and is organized by Pudong New District Education (Sports) Bureau, Pudong New District Federation of Labor Unions, Pudong New Strict Sports Federation. Shanghai Desano Chemical Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd took part in this competition on behalf of Technical and Economic Information Committee of Pudong New District.

It was known that there were 30 groups including 330 athletes took part in this competition. All the athletes were active and ambitious. In the beginning of the competition, all the athletes were struggling and confident. Cheering squad kept cheering up the athletes. The Desano Chemical Pharmaceutical Group overcame all the difficulties in the way and achieved top 8. During the competition of top 4, Desano Chemical Pharmaceutical Group kept fighting and defeated Free Trade Zone Bonded Office General Labor Union Group, Pudong Education Bureau Group, Pudong Public Security Bureau Group, Pudong Development Company Group and COSCO Marine Insurance Company Group. In the semifinal, Desano Chemical Pharmaceutical Group kept fighting courageously but was defeated by Pudong City Administration Enforcement Bureau Group due to the lack of physical ability and finally achieved the third place.
